Hmmm,
the download counter for the story gets not incremented for each individual chapter if I โ a non-premium member โ download all chapters of a story. I just checked it for Ernest's story Out of Reach. I actualized the page .../series/1372/reach and it showed "Downloads: 53597". Then I downloaded the title page and all 5 chapters, went back to .../series/1372/reach and actualized this page. It now showed "Downloads: 53599".
I expected 53598 however.
Maybe another reader did also a download within the short time span it took me to download the whole story.
Is there another reason why downloading 6 parts caused the download counter for the story to get incremented by 2?
BTW, my personal download counter was 0 for today and is now 1.
AJ, guessing from your question, are there separate download counters for each chapter โ probably visible only for the author? (So he would know which chapter caused the reader to abandon the story).
HM.
