Strangely,
in my last posting, when I used ... between chapters, it showed every other time excapet for the last one.
in the middle of the chapter, SoL's posting showed it where it was supposed to be, yet between the 4th and 5th last paragraphs, where I definitely had one in, it was absent.

any clues?

If you posted using a *.docx file, make sure smart tags are turned off. I posted several stories that had major parts deleted when they were formatted by the algorithm of SOL.

I reposted after Lazeez informed me of the problem.
