In a past life, I did marketing. So, I am always on the lookout for cheap solutions, especially for doing this author thing. One way to keep your audience engaged is through newsletters and alerts when you have a new book coming out.
Most email providers (yahoo, gmail, etc.) frown on you using their services to send out stuff like this. I've used Constant Contact and a few others in my past life, but they can get pricy.
I found a new one called mailer lite. The first 1,000 contacts are free.
Just thought I would share. Free is good, right?
