Not sure if you mean the stories or the forum. With the forum the allowed code is accessed via the buttons above the text box, and with the stories the list is at:

as far as I know that's about all the system allows.

The < pre> tag is not supported. < i> < b> < a > < em> and < strong> are the only supported codes.
