…centered but the only thing I find seems to discourage even trying. And the center tag is not in the list of allowed tags.

Perhaps {center} and {/center} will work for whole short paragraphs. And hopefully for two-line paragraphs. Does anybody know for sure?

And while I'm here…

If I submit as plain text will "Chapter" as the first and only word on the line start a new chapter? But then I will have to do something with a bulleted list.

What format method of submitting the story are you using?

If a text file has the word 'Chapter' as the first word on the line the SoL Wizard will usually see that as a chapter divider.

Text can be centered on the line if the file is using the tagged text codes for the whole fail or the html codes for the whole file. Before I switched to using the html I used the tagged text and often centered text in the story But the tagged text command to center the text applies to the whole paragraph and is (with spaces) { c } then you need a blank line between that paragraph and the next paragraph.

The SOL { c} command works, but it fails if you want to center multiple lines of text (like lines in a poem). If you post as html, as Ernest asked, then you simply use the standard:
< p align="center"> … < /p> to center your entire paragraph.
