Rape of 15 years old girl ?

Hello,

I have an idea for a story, but I would like your opinion if it is possible or not to write such a story here.

Because the story will not be to present the rape of a 15-year-old girl, but her rape will be the pretext to present the story that will be her revenge.

The story would start with something like this:

When I was 15 years old, I was raped by a group of students under the encouragement of 4 girls I thought were my friends.

Now I'm 18 years old and I intend to take revenge.

If the rape is offscreen, as in no rape scene described in detail, then it's fine.

The way described above is fine. It's clinical enough to be allowed anywhere.

Sorry, but I don't understand what this means in relation to the question posted, which did not identify country or race or cultural practice.

What's an MI?

MI-5 or MI-6 (Military Inelligence in the UK), responsible for domestic and foreign security/intelligence, respectively.

Roughly the equivalent of our FBI or CIA, just less efficient at the jobs with less leeway than is afforded them in American. Which is actually something we'd do better with, given our own chaotic recent history.

If your only tool is a hammer, every problem becomes a nail, so if your only tool is a gun, then every problem ends with death or serious injuries.

Frankly if the rape is pivotal to the story I hate having it off screen. Then again I to bow to the winds of the censors. So I'm not going to chance having the FBI at my door for writing the truth about things, not even my youth any more.

Was that a recent publication? Because I've been trying to parse the anti Frank McCoy laws and they seem pretty much to come down to, you must be a clinician writing in a 'scholarly journal' to discuss children and sex at all, even a rape that would be pivotal to the story.

No, nearly twenty years ago.

I link to the .info so you get to see the rather stern warning rather than being dumped right into the story. It's not prurient at all, I've heard it described as 'brutal'; every time I've read it it's generated tears.

ETA: It's one of the few stories I've given a 10. Great story dealing with a horrible subject.

In Dance of a Lifetime by Don Lockwood, one of the two main characters is raped while the story is in progress. The rape itself is almost entirely off-scene, and has some impact in the story itself.

It's more that it's a trigger issue, than than censoring, so those who've been traumatized, or known anyone who was, will be likely to 1-bomb it. Just as many of us don't prefer scat or worse, stories involving violent death scenes, we'd rather steer clear of such material.

We all recognize just how visceral those moments are, it's not like we can't imagining it without getting into the ugliest, most viral details.

The theme of my novel "Sexual Awakening" is revenge. There are two sub-plots that come together at the end, but both MCs are driven by revenge due to a rape. So the rape is pivotal to the story, but it is never shown. It's something that happened in the past that's driving the present. It wouldn't add anything to the story to have a flashback that showed the rape. In fact, it would ruin the mystery aspect of the story.
