Actually, it sounds more like a harem tale, where the male protagonist son, lends one of his many paramours to keep his mother 'company' during trying times. Now that sounds more intriguing, as the paramour shift back and forth between the mother and son, without any actual incest occurring, just a form of self-confessions concerning his mother's experiences. That's actually more dramatic than a straightforward incest saga would likely be, as what man wants to hear anything regarding his parents' love lives? Talk about an ongoing internal conflict!
