Yeah!

If you missed the initial post, you can still all the hostile responses, but I don't need the shit, and I've got better things to do wasting time posting on SOL!

Yeah, the only treatment is severe and only lasts a very short time

I'm not aware of any treatment beside a ventriculoperitoneal shunts. And that would solve it permanently.

@Vincent Berg

So I'll always be a raging ass, but I'll no longer blame my 'spectrum disorder', as that merely further complicated my true condition. And all those pointless treatments, that's incredibly freeing, knowing responsible for how I act, but not why I'm how i am. Even my incessant negativity, turns out it also impacts that too.

Hooray?

Must be nice being you but I'm barely getting by as it is, and if it's also not mentioned for someone as world renown as Billy Joel, I'd have to wonder why not. But for me, I likely would never survive the diagnosis, much less the rehab or the later potential treatments years later.

I don't know why you're writing this as a weird personal attack but a shunt is absolutely being mentioned as a potential treatment for Billy Joel. If you're going to be an asshole about your self-diagnosis, at least read two articles about the subject who inspired you. I recognize that this will cut into your tine that you could be using to write incredibly dickish posts as one of your alt accounts, but maybe that's for the best.

Normal pressure hydrocephalus, Joel's diagnosis, is a form of this condition that commonly results in difficulty walking, loss of bladder control and cognitive impairment, sometimes referred to as the "wet, wobbly and wacky" triad. Joel's diagnosis has brought awareness to this underrecognized but potentially treatable disorder, which is often managed through surgically placing a shunt to divert excess fluid and relieve symptoms.

That's from literally the first article I clicked on when I typed "Billy Joel Brain Disorder" into google - you can read it at this link

I don't know what articles you read, but the fact that I found this information pretty much with zero effort indicates to me that your research method is bad and maybe you should focus on self improvement instead of jumping down people's throats when they bring up very easily verifiable information that you could have found yourself if you had put a modicum of effort into doing anything that didn't involve being an ass.

But, my personal history aside, I'm still wrestling over how the shunt applies in this case. But if we could possibly take this whole discussion off-line, as that's why I avoid the SOL Forums, as it feels more like a viper pit than a free exchange of ideas.

Yeah man it's really tough to figure out how a shunt would apply. I happen to be an incredible genius, so i was able to figure it out by thinking "this sounds like a question that could be answerable if i knew more about the diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus" and then i went to google and typed in "diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus" and after a lot of real hard thinking i clicked on the first result, which was a paper titled "diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus" and then scrolled down until i got to the section titled "shunt basics" but i mean, that process is totally inscrutable and very hard to reproduce and i can absolutely see why you are incapable of typing "diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus" into google because it's not like you are trying to diagnose yourself with idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus or understand how it might be treated.
