I dunno. In one of my stories, I did a little bit of discriptive calculus and some readers took offense. They demanded that I hold their clammy hands and not do any further damage to their little minds.

But the site does look interesting. For orbital mechanics, there is some cool stuff on Wolfram Alpha, as well as general mechanics to include from Newton's stuff to Einstein's annus mirabilis stuff, and the mambo jumbo of quantum mech and the garbage string theory.

I've always preferred writing 'hard' science stories, so I'd encourage you to continue. Yet, that gets tricky, as you also need to be able to explain the 'hard science' in ways that an average reader (i.e. no not fluid in the sciences or the underlying mathematics, can easily understand). Yet since I've always clearly stated that as my personal writing presence, most of my readers are fully aware of my approach (i.e. if they don't like those kinds of stories, they know NOT to read my work).

Thus, those 'hard' science stories are harder to write, yet that's my main raison d'etre, so I've learned to adjust over the years. The 'soft' sci-fi stories are much simpler to write and post!
