I saw an old movie yesterday called "17 Again." The main character's life is a mess because of something that happened when he was 17 and he's in the middle of a divorce. He is magically made 17 again.
But the catch is — he does not go back in time when he was 17. He stays in the current time as the 17-yo he was 20 years ago. Going to the same high school as his son and daughter. His picture is even in the trophy case and when his wife meets him she recognizes him (not that she knows he's the same guy).
So with do-over stories, the MC goes back to when they were younger and does things differently to change their future life. In this story, the 17-yo version of him helps his son and daughter in high school. And when he goes back to his real age at the end, he understands things about why his life is so bad and makes up with his wife.
A twist to a do-over story.
And for you incest lovers, his daughter tries to make out with his 17-yo self which he fights off. That relationship could be right up your alley.
