Does the new unified login system mean pen names have to be unique across all three sites?
If I were to set up a pen name of 'Mildred Fortescue' on SOL, does that mean I would then be the only person able to set up the pen name 'Mildred Fortescue' on FineStories and SciFiStories?

That question is one for Laz, if he doesn't reply here, you might be best PM'ing him direct. I have six here, two at Scifi and none of them are the same, so I can't answer your question.
I think I 'had' one at Finestories. But I never go there, so can't say for sure. In fact, I might go have a wee look now...
The name I post this comment under is my username used for the site. It works on SOL, Bookapy, and all other associated sites.
In addition to that, I can create pen names in my user panel, under which I then can post stories.

Currently: No.
However, I'm working on a centralized Pen name repository like user names to facilitate these issues for authors. It's not ready yet.
