Are the Ma, Fa, mt, ft story codes new?
These are standalone codes. Not when they are used in a relationship, like Ma/Fa.
I was looking at the statistics in the "show all tags" in the Category Search and noticed them because their numbers are so small. I don't remember seeing them before.
Added them few months ago. I didn't see the need to announce them.

Or masturbation, showing the age group and gender of the masturbator.
While I haven't yet read any story with the new tags, the sequence they are listed for those stories lets me guess they are not used as intended but just as addition to the old pairs.
Used as intended would be: Bestiality, Fa, or vice versa, but not intermingled with the other Sex/Age tags.
The new tags are however wonderful for those authors thinking 'the more tags the better', giving them four more tags to add.
Another misuse would be to add them for all minor actors showing-up somewhere in the story. For most stories all four could be added, because there are always other peoples (clerks, waiters, neighbors, teachers, students, family) in the stories.

Or a no-sex story about a troubled boy and his coach who's a father figure and turns the boy's life around. Codes would be: Ma, mt.
Before the new codes, it would be Ma/mt to show their relationship, but that would imply a major squick for many even if it didn't exist in the story. In fact, Ma/mt could even be in many people's exclusion list.
