No idea. I was going to send comment to them on their observation about the death of Tina Turner, and what was reported in the media here in UK. I found it somewhat ironic that they are complaining about an apparent lack of awareness or care, when no one can respond to them even if they are or do.
Yes, I was going to make a similar comment about Australia.
The Australian Broadcasting Commission (www.abc.net.au) ran a large item on her; as did some of the major newspapers and at least one of the TV stations.
Tina was quite popular in OZ. So she wasn't ignored

I live in the US I do not watch tv, I remember a blurb on the front page of the local paper (large city western ma). Even without that I knew within 24 hours of her death. Ignored? - no. Hysterical weeping? no. "Scandal" like Jackson or the confused critter dying of drug overdose? no.
So where does he live that there is no coverage? I live under a rock. Does he live under a mountain?
I mentioned scandal earlier the scandal is that by her own admission she toasted her kidneys trying to cure high blood pressure with homeopathy. I am not going to say that it is useless but there are very few studies like the drugs have to go through to prove effectiveness.
Note: I reread this and come off as a grumpy sob - well, I am.:) I don't mean to point it at anybody here. She died at 83 of a known problem. Her last performance was over 14 years ago. Do I regret never seeing a concert of hers? yes, but. I have problem with crowds an loud noises so . . .
