One thing I have learned is that most people who are creative tend to be so in many areas. Singers who paint, actors who sculpt, actors that sing, things like that. And I was curious who else in here may do other things creatively.

Myself, I have done poetry in the past, as well as worked as a DJ off and on for several decades (which is shown in my writing with how many song references I throw in). However, hearing damage about 20 years ago pretty much ended that as permanent tinnitus makes it impossible to really do that anymore.

However, about 20 years ago I really got into sound and video editing, and it is something I recently got into again. Originally helping a friend make commercials, then as a hobby creating my own "music videos". Something actually I recently got back into and realized how much I had missed doing it.

For the other writers in here, care to share what other creative interests you might have that we are not aware of?

I used to draw with pencil and tissue paper (similar to charcoal but with led) and paint with acrylics. With my current eyesight (or lack of it), that's in the past. But I do have one of my paintings hanging on the wall over my laptop.

Woodturning, woodworking in general, and laser engraving. I've made quite a number of bowls, platters, and other things on the lathe. I use Sorby tools, in case anyone else turns.

Poetry, both original and translating it. Origami. Various musical instruments, most recent (starting a year ago) being ukulele.

Old cars, Git-tars, and Big Moder-sickles best describe my life. Music, Hot Rods, and Motorcycle Racing have always been important to me. Writing came almost too late for me as my memory is not what it should be.
