How to incorporate multiple html files in an ePub

rustyken 🚫

I've been playing around with Calibre. I've pretty well worked through the issues of converting a single xhtml file to an ePub. For a document with several chapters, it splits the document into the chapters into multiple xhtml files. Each is labeled with 'split' in the file name. The xhtml file was an export from LibreOffice.

However, in looking at other ePubs, the file names for each portion do not have 'split' in the file name.

So obviously I am overlooking something. The story I have has been saved so that each chapter is a separate file. While I could create a document consisting of all chapters, I would prefer not to do that. So would some one be willing to provide me with a clue?

Thanks in advance!

In calibre, select the book and click 'Edit Book'.

The book editor allows you to add the files one by one. The first icon on the left in the tool bar is a document with a plus sign in it.
