Do we get any sort of notice if, after getting notice of an upload is in the queue, it fails for any reason? Is there a way to see an uploads queue status AFTER navigating away from that page?

You can click back on the upload screen to see if it's still pending or not. One thing to keep in mind is that the moderators are human, so while you may have put it in to post immediately, or at 8 pm tomorrow, but if they're not around to do it, it's not going to happen until one of them logs in. Like if you upload something at 11PM at night for immediate posting - not gonna happen until the next morning.
I've seen my Sunday 8 AM scheduled posts not show up until 1 PM that day. Just part of it.

Alternatively you might have clicked on 'save' and forgotten to click on 'submit'. As Carl said, check via upload screen.

Well, the latest Craver offering was posted at 2023-02-05 3:47:07 am site time - that's dedication!
If the upload is successful, you should see it listed in the 'Submissions in the Posting Queue' table. If it doesn't show up there, then the process wasn't completed successfully.
If there are issues with a successful upload we contact you.

I uploaded Ch 2 this morning, about 7 A.M., and got the added to queue page, then closed that tab. when I tried to go back to it via my history, it took me to the submission page... IDK, if a Brave Browser thing, or if I just screwed up.
I submitted as paste plain text (pasted into space provided) but in that text file, there were italics and bold html tags, and I worry that might have caused an issue. At least I know I closed all the tags.
Now, having just checked, I see the new chapter... posted at 10:06, but nothing on the stream page, or the updated serials page?
at least it's up.

If a story gets updated too soon after being posted (specifically, in less than 18 hours) then the updates are not announced as the story is still too new and is still on the home page and the new stories page.
