I'm watching a mini-series on the creation of the British SAS in 1941 Africa during WWII called "SAS - Rogue Heroes." I guess it was on the BBC and now on cable in the States.

In the beginning it states that it is based on a true story and the most unbelievable parts… are probably the parts most true.

Think of that when a reader tells you that your story isn't believable.

I watched that, and found (to my surprise) that it was actually quite watchable.

The only issue I had was the timeline, things happened far faster than they would have in real life. But that is understandable as a certain degree of brevity is required to keep a TV series engaging.
