Humans eating humans is covered (I hope) by the Cannibalism tag. A story containing non-humans eating humans has strong potential for squick territory but there's no tag for it.
How have other authors coded stories with such content?

Simple Murder is covered by the Violent code.
Maybe it would offend some overly religious nut who want the dead body preserved (Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Orthodox) ?
But I do not think that warrant a Caution code or a misleading Horror code.
If you do a category search for Were animal you will see there is only 3 Caution in 191 stories.

In my context, humans getting devoured by non-humans isn't going to be gory. In fact, there's a sort of black humour about it.

It's not currently a tag on SOL, but in the larger community of on-line erotica, there's "vore", Which could be included in the description.

Technically, vore would be a superset of cannibalism. While cannibalism would be a type of vore, vore is broader and would cover animals, non-sentient monsters, or sentient non-humans eating people presented in an erotic or semi-erotic fashion.

Thanks, but I believe your response applies to a sex-story context. Cannibalism in general isn't sex related, and neither is the context of my story :-(

In my story "Death of a Hero," I have two humans eaten by animals, one after they're dead and one eaten alive. No one has ever complained about it. Not that they're graphically described.
