The lowest three ranks in the Army are Privates. Recruit (E-1), Private (E-2), and Private First Class (E-3), all whom would probably like to receive messages, by mail or possibly emails. There are military bases all over the country, you could contact one or more to get information how to reach Privates at those locations.
Now your're living up to the grinning dick some call you. Emphasis on the second word. If you don't know the answer, let someone who does answer it.
I'd like the same answer myself.
Aside from the forum there is the email link on author pages.
I do not know of a way to initiate a private message to someone who is neither an author nor active on the forum.
