I wish I could think of something scary, besides reality in the year 2022 itself.
Seriously though, I really wish there was a good way to collaboratively workshop and brainstorm ideas. I work better when I can throw ideas up against the wall with people. Every time I think about a halloween themed story, I come back to things I've done before.
Yeah it's tricky because by the rules of the contest it's supposed to be anonymous and you're not supposed to hint at what your story is about.
I might try to prepare an entry for Halloween. However, I am behind in being able to send my stories. I am "couch surfing" while trying to get my vehicle repaired.
However, actually completing a story has an appeal.
