This list divides the download count for recently updated serials (concluded or in progress) by the number of instalments that these serials received, to get a somewhat close number of readers.
However, the readers count isn't displayed (as it's complicated to show it currently).

I like it as well, but why not simply list the download number of the latest update? That way we could at least estimate how many readers presently follow a serial.
It's a bit complicated. To show any data, I would need to modify the core object underlying the story listing display. Creating a new listing is simple. I have a table object that I give an sql query and it takes care of displaying the data.
I may get around to doing it, but for now, I'm not touching the core. Remember, there are three different themes for displaying stories and each would need modification.
