A long requested feature of the story content search has been the ability to find text by chapter.
Well, FINALLY, we've implemented that ability.
As of now, in the content search form (in the advanced search page), there is a check box that is checked by default for 'Whole Stories only'. If you uncheck this box, the results will show in which chapter of a long serial the text was found.
Is the "extended search" gone, then? I don't see it in the Story Text Search menu.
For now yes. The new server works differently.
With the new server, I have more power to implement, but since most people have no clue how to use the extended search, it was practically useless except for a very small number of premier members.
I'm planning to replace that functionality with a better interface.
Which features of the extended search you used most? Word exclusions? Anything else?
