Are there any stories where the main character is a guy isn't a fighter at all.
Well, in CBGB, the main character became a Marine. But he went into computers, not the Infantry. The closest he came to a "fight" other than being attacked was when he intimidated a guy he identified as a "marshmallow" with the fact he was a Marine, and most of the guys that worked with him were veterans.
But none of them were fighters either, but his acting tough did intimidate the guy and nothing was ever heard of him again.
But as Awnlee said, sadly most of them tend to be Mary Sue (or Marty Stu) characters. Where if they are like that, they are so bad-assed that nobody will ever mess with them.
But for various reasons, I refuse to write "violent" characters. The only exceptions were secondary ones, that were not important to the main story.
