are there any stories where a woman is entirely devoted to the main character? I mean like she would set the world on fire if it meant the main character could get something out of it. as a result, the mc becomes slowly but surely more devoted to her. bonus if her devotion leads to him having a harem but that's wishful thinking.

Julia Williams in Ascending Author's Deja Vu Ascendancy fits the bill, including growing devotion and harem.
I second that suggestion. It takes a while for the character to get there in some ways, but it certainly qualifies. Also, it's a pretty good read, one of my favorites here.
Indeed. That girl is totally nuts, deliberately building him a harem out of pure possessiveness. It makes no freaking sense at times, but she's very much a woman who made the man.
A Masters Ring by ElSol if you aren't put off by BDSM themes might tick the boxes for you. The story is unfinished but has a very soft ending with lots of room left to build on for continuing the story, that is never going to happen though.
