I've been considering dejavu ascendancy. Just read that the editing and reading quality is pretty terrible which has slowed me down. 6 times a day I dropped pretty fast.
I've read a bunch of stories with worse editing than DVA. Six Times... yeah, I understand. The 'illustrated' part was especially annoying.
But you gave no specifications beyond 'long' so... I mean, I left out the unfinished garbage, but beyond that...

There are ways around a block. One way is using a VPN but even without that SOL offers some subscription options to get around a block like proxy and a different domain name.
Anything by Crumbly Writer - Vincent Berg. Also, most of my stories are novel length or longer. The same with those by The Scot.
Thanks for suggestions I added the scot to my list and I'll give it a try. I think I've almost started a few of his stories a few times. Quarantine is definitely a pain in the ass though. 15 days is a long time, especially when I read like 1-1.5 pages a minute or something.

Hard to say. VPN is always a way to go. I know if you are using a DoD connection, it will be blocked. I could not log in here for over a year because of that.
As far as "popular", that is not really a good gauge. More important, is what kinds of stories you like to read. Mine are popular, and long. But I also tend to not be "popular" because I generally do not write things like harem, rape, incest, and other things of that nature.
I read a bit of your country boy, city girl never really got to into it but it was a pretty good story. Pretty much essentially anything on the author list that doesn't qualify as no sex (just seems contrary to what's on the website and I read quite a few things elsewhere), mind control and military I've probably tried or read. Honestly military stuff just bores me since I went to military school and the whole mind control thing just annoys me generally since it feels like dialogue becomes pointless In Those stories although I will say it doesn't interest me much to start with. Really just mostly want quality stuff and I'll shift through the things I like and don't pretty damn fast. I can pretty much read easily 1k words in a day if the situation aligns which completes a lot of things really damn fast. I probably will give your story another try as well but even then it probably would only take me a day or two to get to current.

If you like the Wes Boyd stuff here, try his own spearfishlaketales site - there are 60 there, including the ones here; no registration required. Start reading at the bottom of the list for the best order. Try Gina Marie's BeyondTheFarHorizon site - free registration required (I think they're hand accepted at the moment due to Russian spammers), various authors, some commonality of stories with here, but some not here. Try looking for a site carrying the Baen CDs (e.g., the Fifth Imperium) - over 20 CDs containing the full text of many of Baen's books - usually most of various series, the higher numbered CDs tend to have more than the earlier ones, for instance 'The Claws That Catch' has 30 of John Ringo's books - and you are encouraged to share them, right on the CD:
