Are there any stories where the mc's dad goes through hell and back for him and would do it again or One where the Mc is the dad. i would like if there was a harem but it's not nessecary. Please and Thank you
Edit: i feel i ashould add that it doesn't matter if he is a biological father, stepfather, or an adoptive one as long he's a father.
Maybe the My Girls series?
Most stories on SOL the dad's main purpose in the story is having sex with his daughters, or as someone for the MC to succeed in spite of. Usually the only 'good' dads are the ones who just found out about their offspring or just met them for the first time during the course of the story - like the billionaire father who never knew he had a son, the aristocrat father who never knew he had a son, the millionaire father who was never allowed near his (illegitimate) son because the mother was married at the time, etc. Then there's the fathers who die before the story ever begins - pretty common, usually so the MC grows up with no father, but sometimes so the MC inherits. And there's the occasional "NC is a father turned vigilante following attack on his family" so...
But, The Mage's "Escape" (and its sequel) should qualify, although the sequel revolves around a grandparent/grandchild...
