Also, a few Swarm Cycle stories would apply. I suggest Pretty CAPable as the MC is a skilled martial artist with a harem even without the story universe's normal explanation for one.

Marital arts are about the performance of such feats as 'hallway sex' (where both partners say "fuck you" as they pass in the hallway) or the removal of a mans testicles through the application of a purse to his body in a public place, etc.
Do a search on "marshal arts" and "marital arts" on SOL - you'll find lots of stories with them, but few are about western sheriffs or wedded bliss...
Even if the story was a Western, marshal arts wouldn't have anything to do with the Sheriff.
