Woman cheating with an other woman

I just read In the Navy by Argon, and while it was a great read, it featured something that irritates me, but is common in stories around here. What I'm talking about is women getting a free pass while cheating, as long as it's an other woman they're doing it with. To me atleast, it's not the act itself of putting an other mans dick in you that's hurtful, but sharing intimacy that's usually reserved for partners in love. So to me, it makes absolutely no difference if it's a woman or a man they're doing it with, it's the same breach of trust anyway.

So what I'd like to read is something where a woman gets caught with an other woman, and still has the attitude common in stories here "Yeah I'm having sex with her, so what? It's not like I'm with an other man baby!" and the man calls her out for it and feels betrayed as you probably would in real life, rather than getting aroused and accepting.

Anyone know something that has a moment like that?

Don't know about a story on here, but that's what happened to my brother and his wife. She ended up leaving him and four kids for a woman.

Probably should have expected it, though, considering I did post a true story (yeah, it really DID happen) about her. Of course, my brother didn't know about it, but still ...

In fairness, the character involved in the "cheating" was remorseful and the husband was not bothered by it. The social mores of the day while not approving, did not see these types of incidents as any threat to a marriage (as there was no conventional union for lesbians in that era).

I can see your point when this happens in a modern story, but not in your example.

I agree, especially in a time without birth protection, I can see how one would find it more acceptable if one dallies with a woman rather than a man. I think that because I've read alot of stories in modern times that does this, it's made me a bit leery to situations like that. If it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't have cared all that much, but when I read it I could just think "Ugh, not again, I wish that just once someone would care if they're cheated on even if she's with an other woman". So yeah, I can understand it happening in the time of In the Navy and it didn't detract from that story, but it was when I read it that I made up my mind that I'd like to read something where a woman gets called out for doing this.

SS06 has a flipped version of what the OP asked for with his story Beautiful Girls. It's pretty standard StangStar stuff with an unbelievably dumb cheater, an unbearably virtuous spouse and a happy ending just 4 or 5 pages in, but the twist is there.

Since we're in the Story Recommendations forum, I'll offer one somewhat related to this topic as a suggested story. Both spouses cheat with a member of the same sex. I know of a couple IRL that married, birthed and raised three children to late teenage years, divorced and moved in with same sex partners. The female duo even adopted a couple of small children. I've talked a little about it with the male and found it an interesting dynamic. It'd make a helluva story IMHO.
