In Aftermath by Al Steiner, the MC goes through a period of seducing females without much scruples. However, after a period of that, he comes to realization that people get hurt due to his actions, and he reforms and settles down. He is not exactly a cad, but comes close to that.
Correction, I was thinking of Doing it all Over. Not Aftermath! Which was a good novel as well, but a very different one.
Some of Thinking Horndog's stuff might suit; he has The Pact collection with boys seducing each other's mothers, the first one I thought of You Want Me to What? which is definitely non-Boy-Scout; and also few others as well as the foundational Swarm stories/
