A search shows 51 stories with the "FanFic" tag and scores of 8.00 or better. Lots of different fandoms. You should be able to find something.
I even remember someone recently started a MLP fanfic. Which apparently is My Little Pony.
I would think that you'd have better luck looking where fanfics are generally published? Archive Of Our Own looks like it has around 400+ Young Sheldon fics based on a quick search.
