Looking for stories with gentle femdom with more plot/relationship and less sex/fetish

Please recommend stories with the following characteristics:
* Main F/M couple is in a gentle femdom relationship
* Very specifically, the dominant female clearly, visibly, and provably loves and cares about (and for) her male partner and protects him. No humiliation. No cucking. No brutality. No putdowns. No disrespect. Basically closer to Mommy Domme or true FLR than typical femdom stories.
* Ideally monogamous, if others are involved permanently or episodically, they are also female and the dynamics with them is also gentle femdom or vanilla
* Story is centered a lot more about plot and/or relationship and a lot less on sex/fetish aspects. I'm perfectly fine if there's zero explicit sex scenes.

In the meantime, my story The Missing Piece I think probably checks most of those boxes, but I guess depends a little on intepretation of some of them. Especially at the start it has some light-hearted teasing (no humiliation), but I think is in line with the spirit of what you're looking for, and it's incest, which I know can be a dealbreaker.

If F/F is close enough, I have a couple shorter ones that check every other box even more solidly, I think, but I understand the M/F aspect may be the whole point so that's probably not helpful haha.

Sure! Yes, unfortunately they're very short, but otherwise check all those boxes pretty well, including the emphasis on story/relationship despite their length. I'd say the place they're lightest is definitely the more domme-y aspects, so that's something to keep in mind going in. I call it gentler-than-gentle femdom (:

Graduation Day is less than 2,500 words and Courage is a little over 5,500. I'll just have to try and write some longer ones someday! (;

while I do not know of any stories matching your criteria, I do know that there are a LOT of stories on site that have a female-LED (as opposed to a female-dominated) relationship...

This is a relationship where the male partner gladly follows the lead of the female partner in most cases (usual exemptions are for security and/or safety reasons) and assists where able to promote the female partner's interests. Usually this appears most often in an age-discrepancy story (much older male with younger female) as the male has life experience and resources and, falling in love for (usually) the first time, is determined to do everything they can to ensure their female's happiness, success, and safety.

Examples of this type of story would be Oyster50's Smart Girl Universe or many of Charlie For Now's stories.

I am not sure I would classify SGU by Oyster or Charlie's stories even as FLR, honestly. They seem more egalitarian than someone fully leading, though admittedly it's been years since I read them. They are amazing, from what I recall, just not quite what I was seeking in this particular thread, sorry :)

Also, the last point you made (he ensures their female's happiness, success, and safety), is the opposite of a femdom or FLR even, where the Dominant partner - in this case a woman - is the one responsible for happiness, success and safety, as ANY good Dominant should be.

that is the difference between a female-LED relationship and a female DOMINATED relationship...

in FDR, the female is the dominant partner and responsible for all areas of the relationship (as you pointed out).

in FLR, the female is the one that is the driving force behind the relationship decisions (ie what direction is the relationship heading, open to others?, etc) whereas the male is happy to just go along with what the female wants unless there is a security/safety issue. Then the male takes the lead (usually) until that issue is resolved.

In neither case is the relationship "balanced", but FLRs are usually a lot closer to a "normal" relationship than FDRs.

I don't want to toot my own horn, but I am in the middle of writing exactly this type of gentle Femdom story. I want to include the psychological aspects of the relationship as it changes, the reluctance, the embracing of the changing power dynamic but also to show the love they show towards each other.
It isn't anywhere near complete atm, and I will only post complete stories. I have sent 19 chapters to my editor so far. Perhaps a month or two barring any issues. I've written a summary:
