I've read Florida Friends, just finished Aftershock which was surprisingly good. Have read that one where the boat is called the e-squared whatever that story was called.
Amy other good ones out there please?

EzzyB's Chaos stories have a strong connection to a Chris Craft Constellation.
Dark Vision's 'Lady Guinevere'
Some of Tedbiker's other stories also have a lot to do with boats and boating, and a few of his series (Dulcie, Jenni, Zoe) contain several of the same characters along with other yachts.
The Delilah series also shares some of those characters but the emphasis is in a different direction.
The barges "Tom Carmichael" crews and skippers are real, although I don't know if they survived the Covid lockdowns and the corresponding loss of income.
Where's Buster by Richard Gerald:
https://storiesonline.net/s/14646/wheres-buster
Also I recommend Sailing to the Bottom by the same author, but not on this site.
Reluctant Sir's series Dark Days has a few boats in it.
https://storiesonline.net/series/1415/dark-days
If you can get past the first few chapters of book 1 it's a really series that I hope he continues
Have read that one where the boat is called the e-squared whatever that story was called.
I think you'll find thomas-4 has read that one, unless there's a second story with a boat of the same name.
Oyster50 has some stories featuring or set on boats.
Melodic Redemption's MC owns a boat and it features fairly prominently.
He started a story called Overboard, but couldn't complete it. It was taken up byu two authors, HandyMan and Friar Tuck.
There are others by Oyster50; Dorable and Swamped Fox come to mind.
Oyster's Smart Girls universe remains one of my favourites; however it's more aviation-centric than nautical.

I think his Mi Vida has a boat as well.
Fantasy/SF settings, but colt45's Mayhem, Sea King, and Smuggler's Gold all feature boats or ships.
D.T. Iverson has several stories in which a yacht, a dog called Buster and a cheating wife called Janet play parts.
https://storiesonline.net/a/DT_Iverson
Catman has a series about a boatyard and messing around on boats.
https://storiesonline.net/a/Catman
Most of the stories in Argon's https://storiesonline.net/universe/102/anthony-carter stories are set on Royal Navy ships in the early 19th century.
It's easier to name the exceptions: Ellen, His Lucky Charm (1 and 2), Return From the Dark Side.
Double or Nothing is set a few decades after the others and only the last few chapters involve ships.
Wes Boyd had two or three series involving the water but not all of them landed on SOL or Finestories. Some of the Dawnwalker stories involved boating - normally rafts in the Grand Canyon - and a couple had sailing boats on Spearfish Lake, the Great Lakes or the oceans. Pretty much anything involving Crystal Chladek or Scooter Whitsell should be a match.
The Full Sails series is not to be found here, I'd go to his site for those.
Stev2244 has a couple:
Fleeing the apocalypse on a yacht in Defeating Greyness and hiding out in the Med on a yacht in The Hermit.
Lift On A Wave by Adrian Leverkuhn isn't on SOL. Its one of the best sailing themed stories on any free site that I've ever read.
Some stories of Old Man With A Pen center around boats β Catamarans, other big and small sailing boats β living on them, racing and building boats.
The Flintkote series comes to mind and some in the Wendy's World series.
HM.
There's a story I will look up when I get a chance: Man finds out his wife is cheating on him. He heads out across the Gulf from Florida to Texas/Mexico. Gets caught in a hurricane and winds up in Central America without his memory. Falls in love with his doctor and regains his memory when he sees a ship like his in the harbor.
Found it - https://storiesonline.net/s/60803/that-look-of-love
The wife and yacht in That Look of Love also play a small role in https://storiesonline.net/s/65043/one-woman-man
https://storiesonline.net/s/54872:70463/part-2-the-river-rat
I like the whole story, but only part 2 is about a boat.
Ian
West Boyd of Spearfish Lake fame has four books on boating that are part of the Full Sail series⦠unfortunately none are posted to SOL.
All of them were quite good if I recall correctlyβ¦ it's been awhile since I read themβ¦. And I think I'll add them to my list to read againβ¦
Thanks all, started the TedB serendipity series and liking it so far.
I had read the Anthony Carter series, thoroughly enjoyed.
Did not like the Wendy universe AT ALL.
I can't remember the name of the story, nor the author. But a man in his 50's retires to a boat on the Great Lakes and rescues a teen girl from an abusive step father.
https://storiesonline.net/s/55969/sailboat-passage
There is another story set on the River Thames, a divorced man rescues a young woman, and they begin a relationship.
Unlikely name: https://storiesonline.net/s/67199/pink-hair
Feasting with a Silver Spoon is set in Charleston, SC. Several important scenes take place at a boat launch, and aboard "day cruisers" fishing, and preparing seafood; also eating at seafood restaurants. It is one of my favorite stories!

Trying to find the 2 stories I mentioned above, I found this in My Library.
