Forum: Story Recommendations

Looking for Time Travel story recommendations.

Specifically:

-NOT tagged Do Over stories...have read all the ones that have interested me on this site with a couple of exceptions for ongoing serials (I am trying to wait till they get completed). If you know of a Do Over story that is not tagged Do Over, then by all means recommend it.

-I don't really care about the source of the time travel but I usually find a story more interesting/entertaining if the source is unknown or accidental.

-Prefer stories where person's knowledge base of future is relevant and helpful but NOT encyclopedic or fool-proof.

a) Have read the Robledo Mt series by Kraken and am looking forward to bk 5. That being said, I feel in that story his having a working computer with encyclopedia on it, a trailer full of modern weapons and ammo and equip to make more/repair them, and detailed maps of gold finds in the area ended up being a bit of an overwhelming combo of advantages to the MC. However, I did like the pacing of the story, the development of relationships, and the theme of striving for a better future for his people.

b) Am currently reading Scotland-the-brave's Surviving series. MC's knowledge base and use of it is more realistic but the development of relationships was a bit lacking IMO and the pacing of the story was kind of haphazard.

-MC doesn't need to be a sex god / attract a harem ... but I do prefer a strong relationship to build/develop/be shown between MC and a romantic interest.

-Bonus: Most TT/DO stories are male-centric ...are there any female ones out there? That could be very interesting if done right.

-Additional Bonus: A story where MC meets younger self. Twice Lucky did that in a way where MC got sent back to somebody else's teen body and met his younger self...but I would like to read a story where MC meets younger self but AS him/herself not as someone else...

Kind of a rambling request here... so in a nutshell:

-Time Travel stories (or Do-Over stories NOT tagged as Do-Over)

-Don't care about method or source

-Prefer a good structured storyline with good pacing, good relationship building, and helpful but not all-knowing/overwhelming knowledge of future.

-A romantic interest.

-Bonus for story with female MC or MC meets younger self.

EDIT: PLEASE...NO Premier Membership stories... at this time I cannot afford a membership, so am primarily interest in the free stories. In the future, when I can afford a membership, I already have a long list of premier stories to look into.

Not quite time travel, the young (18yo) MC got involuntarily transferred into an alternate reality with humans, elves, dwarfs and wizards.

Wes Boyd's "Joe/Joan" (on his site) is a do-over where a man comes back as the sister he never had, told from the sister's perspective.

Old Man With a Pen has several time travel stories scattered amongst all the others.

Jennifer Yang is thrust back in time to 1882 San Francisco. Does she have a Chinaman's chance of surviving? Voted second best erotic western for the 2015 Clitorides.

A story where MC meets younger self... this is a bit of the opposite but Mayhem in a Pill by Shinerdrinker have the MC visited by his future self bringing him special gift that made sure he grew up differently than the older visitor. The story later branched between the younger version's life and the older version's continuing his life after giving the younger the gift, so it kinda makes him a main character too.
