Is there a way to search stories by a particular editor?
For example, BlackIrish has done a fantastic job with G Younger and Jay Cantrell. I would love to see what else he has worked on?
Thanks

no, because not all authors list their editors, and not all editors want to be listed. I know G Younger uses other editors to Black Irish, so not sure if the finished product is due to BI or not.
I've run into this conflict when publishing ebooks. Technically, you can list authors, but then it treats each editor as a 'co-author' listing the book as having been written by a half-dozen people. Not an option many people would support!
Also, editors use different names based on context. On SOL and ASSTR, most use pseudonyms so they can't be personally identified. When I publish books, I prefer using their proper names, since there's less chance an author will be attacked for writing something if the person has already purchased the book. I also list their email addresses, so other authors can contact them about their work.
But there doesn't seem to be any generic solution to how to publicly acknowledge editors contributions to a book.

a thank you note at the front of the book or on the page following the end of the story has worked well in the past, and probably still will.
edit to add: treat it like a dedication but call it a thank you.

That's what I do, though I call it my "Acknowledgements" page.
What I meant was, there's no way to publicly acknowledge the editors except from within the book (i.e. readers can't search for editors that way).
By the way, that's also the appropriate place to list photos, included fonts or other contributions to the book.
