While reading a long serial, I was trying to figure out how some chapters have apparently been skipped.
Finally notice an intermittent behavior.
Next chapter hotlink at bottom of chapter occasionally scrolls to the bottom of a freshly loaded chapter.
Because I tend to flip to check eMail & messages while a chapter is loading, I will not notice that the chapter number has incremented. So, if the page has the "click to load text..." I may read the 2nd half & accidentally skip the 1st half. Or I may think "Hey! I just finished reading a whole chapter and should not be at a midpoint" and assume flipping between applications cause the original page to re-load... which re-triggered the anti-bot functionality. So, I'll click the next chapter and accidentally skip an ENTIRE chapter.
The question is: where is this spurious 'scroll to bottom' action originating?
