Could all the current text and background colors please be offered for both text (body text color) and background (text area color) instead of having one set for text and another set for background?
I like to read in light on dark background and really would like a slightly more muted text color than pure white. There are some off whites available as background colors but they can't be used as text colors.
It's one of the reasons I programmed my own local library, to have full control over how my pages look. It would be very difficult for SOL to offer the same unless you can fully adapt the SOL css to your liking. Very difficult to do because css files change over time, just try and keep them synchronized with every users settings. The alternative is to offer a full color palette instead of the current color boxes.

Well, apparently there is a color picker!
For reading stories, the system allows you to have any colour as background as well as any colour as text. Create your own style and customize it to your liking. There are a bunch of preset colours, but the last box should trigger a colour picker that allows you to pick any colour.
There are three presets offered in the hamburger menu, one of them I created specifically for night reading. You pick it from the theme menu in the hamburger menu, and it's called 'Night Time'.
