I'm setting up a new book on bookapy, and no matter what cover I try, it doesn't display. This is the first time I'm setting up a book ahead of time that isn't publishing immediately, so is this a normal thing? Do covers only show on new listings if it's already launched?
It's a bug in the Book Manager for authors. I uses the same function to retrieve the book data for readers and that returns 'not found' for books yet to go on sale.
So because it's not on sale yet, the cover doesn't show up.
I'll fix. As this is complicated to bypass, it will take some time.

How can the cover show up when the book doesn't exist? If the book is not for sale, it doesn't exist.
