Clicking between the "Today" button and the "This Pay Period" shortcut buttons, I think the "From" field should change to show the start of the pay period instead of staying the current date as the "To" field when selecting "This Pay Period". it would really clarify the display.

For example, selecting "today" should display both dates as 08/06/2021 (as it does now). Selecting "This pay period" should display '07/01/2021' and '08/06/2021' in the fields.

even if you manually set the from date to July 1st., clicking "This pay period" resets it to todays date

I think the dates are associated with the "show" button, not the "Today" and "This Pay Period" short-cuts.

Maybe, but when you use the shortcut buttons it switches the display. As I said, it would sure clarify the page if they were for both. Fiddle with it and you will see what I mean.

It just changes it back to the default dates which is today's date. It hasn't anything to do with the dates for the short-cut buttons. As it turns out, it will always match the "Today" short-cut, but that's because the default dates are today's dates.

But you're right. it would be better to change the "From" date to the first day in the "This Pay Period" when that short-cut is clicked.

Took you long enough. I almost had to use my toes to keep track of the minutes!

lol! Thanks. looks much better... even better then better! you have it show the end date of the pay period. Kills another bird with the same stone!
