Option to exclude individual stories (or series or universes) from search

junior15 🚫

I like to use the category search to find new and interesting stories, but there are always stories listed that I've decided that I have no interest in reading. Is there a way to mark those stories (or series or universes) so they no longer show up in my searches? It's not a huge deal to scroll past the stories I don't want to read, but gets annoying when I have to scroll through two or three pages of stories I don't want to read each time I do a search. It also makes it more likely that I'll miss something new that I do want to read.
Right now, the only way I can think to do this would be to "read" each story so they are excluded when I used the option to include unread stories only. The downside to that is they then show up in my history and I have to sort through them there if I'm going back to find a story I read.

Any thoughts how to do this now or the likelihood it could be added? Thanks.

if you're not using flags for anything, then you can use flagging to flag stories you don't want to see and exclude flagged stories from search results.
