I have posted several stories at SOL and would like to take them down. I was looking at the manage stories area of the Author's page and can see how to repost the story but not how to take it down entirely. Am I missing something?

I've deleted a series (three books) to replace it with a revised story consisting of five). Authors can't delete stories, but Lazeez will delete them for you.
By the way, I don't recommend removing stories to do a revision. It hurt my total downloads and readership, and generally isn't worth the effort. (It's better to simply revise the total story and have it all display at one time, rather than a chapter at a time.) Or better yet, work on improving future stories, rather than reworking older stories that won't return the time investment as much.
However, the best times to delete a file are:
1) When you want to remove the dreaded yellow-stripe abandoned story.
2) When an author gets pissed at SOL and yanks all his stories (probably why Lazeez prevents authors from deleting stories, since many authors would delete file one minute, then regret it the next)
3) Authors 'get religion', and no longer want to write particular types of stories (typically after they meet a new spouse).

I'm not seeing any reference to Young Thinker or searching by titles to stories I already have. Where would I find that he's gone? EDIT: I mean, how would I know that Author X has pulled his stories? Where is the public information?
And, for the record. I'm sorry to hear this news. I like his stories.

I'm guessing only an author I've had in my library appears in the Removed list, is that correct? I probably had at least one Young Thinker story in my library, but certainly not all the titles shown as removed.

No, it's not just authors in you library, but it only shows things that were removed in the last month or so.

It shows the last 100 stories removed, whether they were in your library or not, and no consideration whether the author was in your library. Simply the last 100.
In this case, the list now is all Young thinker because he removed more than the limit.

The site's functionality now is so vast that only few people could possibly know all of them. (For those who like stats, SOL's code base is around 15 MB of uncompressed code each and every line written by yours truly).
I always advise members/visitors to go through the 'My Account' page one link at a time to know what they can do, then for premier members go through the library one link at a time and check each and every line of the library's preferences.
Don't be afraid to explore. Some people are usually very surprised when they ask for a feature and get told where to find it as it's already available.

Poor Lazeez. No wonder he no longer has much time to write creatively anymore. (He got started highlighting his own stories, then started adding fellow authors before building it into a platform.)

That's why pseudonyms are so useful. When you meet a new cutie, and she convinces you that you need to 'clean up your act', you delete your recognized stories, but leave up all the kinky stuff for posterity.
