I've been using SOL on a Lenovo Tab 2A (on Kit Kat), reading it with Opera Mini (latest). The sidetab (to manage scroll etc.) works.
On my new Tab S2 with Lollipop the sidetab doesn't work. When I press it the entire page redraws but the pop-in is not seen. This is both on the full site SOL and the mobile SOL.
Chrome does work.
Any thoughts other than switching browsers?

I use an Asus Memopad 7 - K103 for reading while soaking in the bath etc. I have Fire Fox on it and have no trouble reading SOL in the full site mode instead of the mobile mode.

I downloaded the Firefox app which worked on my iPad for an hour or two but now blocks the entire system - I get a white apple on a black background and have to turn off - nothing else works

That has to be an Apple related issue because Fire Fox works well on my current tablet and it worked well on the previous one which used Android.

So typical. I remember years ago I had a problem in the company I worked for. Three vendors were involved. Each blamed the other. I finally got them in a room at the same time and heard things like, "You do that?" and "You do it that way?" and "I didn't know that."
Due to the way Opera Mini works (sends request to opera's servers, who in turn fetch page, render into image and send to opera mini), it will always have some issue with the site. Always have so far.
Best to switch browsers.
