There isn't really an appropriate forum category for website questions, so I figured this was the best place. After being on the site for a few weeks, I think I may be interested in a premium account, but have concerns about getting it. The username and email I've recently created for this and some other adult sites currently has no ties to any of my other online handles, nor any real information.

In light of that, I need to know two things:
1. Will using a credit card on this site reveal any info publicly about me (through the site)?
2. Is the merchant identification traceable back to this site. I'd be fine with something like CCBill, they're used for thousands of merchants, but not for instance "Stories Online" appearing on my statement.

I'm of course open to suggestions if there's an anonymous alternative as well.

Of course not. That would be silly. Do you see any info about anybody else?

It will be under 'world literature'. It's not obvious (on purpose) but if somebody wants to know, it's traceable via google searches. So it's not anonymous, but not easily recognizable.

I'm of course open to suggestions if there's an anonymous alternative as well.

We do accept money orders (or cash, but risky) via snail mail. You can generate an invoice via the subscription system.

Good enough for me. I'm not overly concerned about privacy as far as the site is concerned (and I don't try to mask my ip or anything), but the reverse is true. I don't really want a background or employment check on my real or well known aliases to turn up sites like these (for probably obvious reasons).

I am an IT contractor who does work for a US Electric utility. I am also a premium member who pays via credit card (actually a debit card in my case).

I have been through background checks both for general employment and for a NERC security clearance. It hasn't been a problem.

NERC(the National Electric Reliability Corporation) is an industry standard setting/self policing organization for the Electric Utility industry. Security standards have gotten much tighter over the last couple of decades and they have deemed that certain information/network assets and physical areas are extra sensitive and must be secured against access even by utility employees not authorized for access.

That's why many SOL users who use company equipment log on to FineStories, which isn't a 'porn' site which might get them into trouble. Then, when they get home, they can seek out the the sexier stories on their 'personal' devices.

And that's a part of the reason why those stories of mine that can be posted on Fine Stories are posted on both. I've a number of regular readers who read a story on FS while at work or out and about using a hotspot, then read it on SOL while at home. I know this because they told me in emails.
