Bug with new Messaging system - Email notification

I just received an email notification from SOL which was sent to the email address I used to create my initial account instead of the address I specified in my author account. Since this was sent as a reply to a comment I sent in reply to the author's blog, am I correct to assume this is not a bug but just defaults to the base email address?

The author's email address is irrelevant now.

All notification is now sent to the user account's email address.

As soon as I clean up all the code using the author's email address I will remove the field from the database. So, one email address per account.

Thanks. I changed the user account email to my author email address. Good to see it changes it across all the WLP sites.

I ran across this, as I changed one account (from "Crumbly" to my actual name, just to see whether it would impact my sales) and now it affects both my messages and sign-in (i.e. it uses a different email, rather than the default email for all three systems).
