I've just tried downloading a story and the size is quoted as -1.
This happens for both epub and zip files.
I've never had issues with downloads before, so is there a site problem?

The system is fine. It's working as expected.
I just tested it and downloaded over 10 stories in both formats you listed.
Which story failed for you?
Here's a silly question:
-1 sounds like an error value, what happens if a user tries to download from a previously saved link after their premier membership has expired?

Links expire and if one is used, it will throw a clear error message.
Looks like it's something to do with my IPad, I tried using a pc and download worked.
Perhaps it's to do with the new iOS version 26.
I'll do some more investigating
