Why can't i comment on blogs?

I tried commenting on a blog entry and i clicked on comment, as soon as i did the screen goes white and blank except for a black X that appears on the top right corner, anyone else having this issue?

There is a send comment link on the bottom right corner of every blog entry

I believe authors can switch off comments on their blogs.
