This isn't how its supposed to work

LonelyDad ๐Ÿšซ

This is the second time I've seen this behavior

Yesterday, I downloaded the current copy of 'Mary Christmas' by Eddie Davidson. Today, while scrolling down on the home page, checking to make sure I saw any new postings, when I got to this entry from yesterday, there was no green arrow. This is not the first time I have noticed this occurrence, but I can't tell you if it was with the same story/author. The green dot was grayed out, but no green down arrow. Please tell me I'm not wrong here!

The missing green arrow indicate that the story has been updated by the author.

@Zellus

You are right. But I was sure the date was 12/5 when I made this entry. I guess I need to get my glasses checked. ๐Ÿ‘

@LonelyDad

The update date changes only when a new chapter is added.

The green arrow is reset if the author reposts something in the story whether the whole story or just a chapter.

You forgot to mention a change of cover or a picture.

What about a change of description or title or codes, does it also reset the green arrow indicator?

Yes, those changes, including cover, all result in the green arrow reset.

Yes, those changes, including cover, all result in the green arrow reset.

So any change made by the author resets the green arrow, but a change made by the system - such as the addition of a default cover - does not reset it. Sounds logical and sensible*, thank you for implementing things this way.

(* Judging by the output, computer programmers are trained to be logical, not reasonable; code possessing both attributes is rare and should be lauded when encountered.)
