How would I request that time stop be made a search category? It could fit into at least three of the broader search areas.
I love time stop stories but they can be hard to find. If they were one of the category search terms it would be a lot easier.

Usually, I add tags at the request of authors who have a story with that tag.
Nobody has asked for time stop.
The way you can find those stories is through the content search.
-> Advanced Search
-> Scroll to bottom
-> In content search form type 'time stop' (without the quotes)
-> select 'Exact Match' from the menu
-> Click 'search'
