I only just stumbled on this. there is a normally invisible button just to the left of the 'mobile view' button.
when I roll over it it pops up, very small, almost too small to read and says 'skip to comments' at least that's what I think it says. it's kind of dark grey text on teal and I find that sort of hard to read.
is this a hold over, or is my browser missrendering the page?
I think the text is "jump to contents" (my browser allows me to look at the page source) but that's as far as my knowledge of html arcania goes.
The jump to contents is meant to be practically invisible.
It's for blind users who read using a screen reader.
for a normal reader, when you click a new page, your eyes focus directly on the page's contents.
For screen readers though, they start from the beginning and they read everything to the user. So this link is a shortcut to bypass all the navigations links and jump directly to the contents and start reading that.
