Forum: Bug Report and Feature Requests

Just a question

LonelyDad ๐Ÿšซ

Wht is the function of the green dots? I just noticed them recently so don't know how long they have been there.
I noticed them when it appeared that the green dot turned grey with a dot in the center for stories I downloaded.

No priority, just asking.

Wht is the function of the green dots?

Indicates a story you didn't read.

Or at least one you didn't acknowledge. If you click on the green dot it will turn gray. This turns out to be handy for filtering stories. The story list in 'Show Similarly Tagged Stories' is all green dots. If you keep seeing something show up that you don't want to read, just click the green dot โ€” it turns gray and that story won't show up again. Thank you Lazeez for letting me know about that!

I do that all the time for threads on the Forum I am no longer interested in.

I think you pretty much answered your own question there...

We have an outdated video explaining them.

And I assume that if the same story is posted to two forums they are treated as separate identities. i.e. If I read it on DOL it is still considered unread on FS.
