Bookapy stats bug

Switch Blayde 🚫

I displayed my sales for the previous pay period (July–Sept) by manually typing in the "From" and "To" dates and clicking on "Show." I was hoping to find a link called "Previous Pay Period" that automatically supplied those dates so I wouldn't have to type in the dates.

So I clicked on the "View & Print Quarters" hoping it would be there.

When I clicked on either the "2022" link (off to the right) or the "Print" links, it brought me to a screen to edit my PayPal info. I don't think that's where you intended the system to take me. You should take a look at it.

Also, does "Print" literally mean to print the stats or is it supposed to display the stats (like when you click on "This Pay Period")? If it truly prints, I'd like a second option added that would display on the screen like the "This Pay Period".

Thanks.

When I click I get the statements for the various periods. Perhaps Lazeez has fixed it?

It's still taking me to the update PayPal info page.

I'm on Safari 16.0. Oddly, when I click on "About this Mac" nothing happens.

The "About this Mac" screen was behind my open apps. Found it. I'm on MacOS Monterey 12.6

I'm using Firefox on Mac OS Monterey, and even with my insane defenses against tracking and scripting (not directed at SOL or Lazeez, but in general), it goes to the correct page. Have you ever entered PayPal information into Bookapy?

I'm set up to get paid via PayPal. So Bookapy has my email address associated with PayPal.

I got my payment through PayPal via the email set up in Bookapy and needed last period's stats to update my sales/earnings spreadsheet. I got it by entering the dates manually, but the links I mentioned took me to the edit PayPal info page.

I just need to change the title of the form. The 'View & Print Quarters' is for tax reporting. You need to enter your real world address into the form and save, and then you could print out your income statement for the quarter in question.

I'm not sure what you mean by entering my real world address into the form, but I'm not looking for tax reporting info so that doesn't apply anyway.

Can you add a link on the book sales stats page next to the "This Pay Period" link for a "Previous Pay Period" link? It would eliminate the need to manually enter the "From" and "To" dates if the author wants to see the previous pay period sales stats. Just like the "Today" link saves the author from typing in today's date.

No big deal, but it would make it more convenient.

Or you could just keep a spreadsheet and update it yourself when you're at the end of each quarter.

I do exactly that.

I keep the Bookapy stats page open all the time in a separate window and click on "This Pay Period" periodically throughout the day to see if there are any new sales. If there are, I click on "Today" to see which novels. If the numbers don't match, I then put in the date of the day before today's date.

So when I see book sales, I update my sales spreadsheet.

But I have an earnings spreadsheet as well. I don't update that until I get paid. At that time, I look at the last pay period (the pay period I'm getting paid for) and use that info for my earnings spreadsheet. (Not that it's important, but on my sales spreadsheet unpaid sales are bolded. I unbold them when I update my earnings spreadsheet. So in my sales spreadsheet, bolded items are sales that haven't been paid yet.)

As I told Lazeez, what I'm asking for is no big deal. I simply put in the "From" and "To" dates for the previous pay period and hit "show." I was hoping if it wasn't a big deal for Lazeez, to be able to do that with a single click.

By the way, I do the same for my Amazon sales, except Amazon pays monthly and not quarterly.
